Tums Chewy Bites Heartburn Relief Chewable Antacid Tablets, Berry, 60 Ct

I didn't think I would like these, I was raised with the original chewable Tums, chew, swallow, and it's down and working, which works great, and the taste is not as bad as people say. I ordered one of these just to try and see what they were like, silly me accidently got a 3 pk instead, it was a lot of money so really needed to try them after having them hang around for a month, so Tums and money would not be wasted. They actually have a very good flavor, and they work well for heart burn, and queasy stomach, two draw backs, they are quit chewy, and a little crunchy which is not bad, but you get the idea that it's like gum, that keeps getting smaller and smaller the more you chew, and the price is $10 for one container, but you do get 60 pieces, and they last a up to two years. I recommend them, they do work.

I was so very sick from reflux and nausea first trimester, I thought I was going to die. I was desperate, so tried these and WOW the reviews were legit. I started out taking up to the 6 minimum per day. Had to put my 'dose' in a separate container so I'd not mistakenly take too many. Now I'm able to take 1-3 per day and some days none at all. I found out that if I do not drink water when I take them they work better and to always take them after eating known triggers such as spicy foods, onion or when over eating. I'd prefer they didn't have dyes, but they work and are not grainy and gross so I'm happy! CHILD SAFETY ISSUE: If you have toddlers (or small children) like we do, this bottle top is dangerous. Each tums is huge and hard, definitely a choking hazard. They look like candy in both color and the name on them. Like giant Skittles. My daughter wants them, I have to hide the container and take them in secret. The lid pops off so easy, I worry I'll drop them and miss some somewhere and her find one and choke. PLEASE design the bottle better. It doesn't need to be hard to open (carpal tunnel, arthritis, or elderly), but does need to be safer for kids and for portability. I'm using an old empty Tylenol bottle to keep them in my bag.
