Everyday around the world, hundreds if not thousands of people experience what no human being should ever have to experience. It is something that most times goes unseen and it is something that sadly never becomes known and so never obtains justice. This is a testimony of hope to reach those who have had to encounter darkness unlike any other darkness and pain unlike any other pain. This is the story about how I, like many others, was struck down and wounded, but never destroyed.
