The only negative thing about this rug was that it was so late to get to me. There was something wrong with the shipping. But now about this rug. WOW it's so soft! It's beautiful and worth waiting for. I am so happy with this rug. When it came it was all folded up so no the rug is not supper thick but it's just right so it's not a trip hazard. It gives the room some color and style. Vacuuming the area rug was a little tricky because it kept moving and the corners would lift so someone had to step on it to keep it down while I vacuum it. It didn't help either that I laid the area rug on carpet so there's no real friction to hold the rug in place when I vacuumed it. That wouldn't probably be a problem if it was actually on a floor not on carpet. There's cleaning instructions included and how to care for it. The care is not hard and the rug is not hard to maintain. Once I got it out of the bag it unfolded easily. I didn't even have to wait for it to flatten smoothly. I didn't have to smooth the creases out too much only just to lay it flat. I got it out of the packaging, laid it flat, vacuumed (it didn't need it but I just wanted to), and it's ready. It's just so beautiful!
