I bought this sideboard/media storage cabinet to use in my Living room below my wall hanging TV. I was delivered a really quality piece of furniture that is over 100 pounds, although the fed-ex guy made it look light. I was very pleased after opening the box and it has no damage. The box was failrly beaten, but the cabinet was so well packaged it was un damaged. The parts were well labeled and some intentionally included extras! When the directions say it requires 2 people to put together, please do! There are parts you can do alone if you hold the panels between your feet while assembling lol. When it comes time to it upright the cabinet you will need help, or a chiropractor. I put wheels on mine, using the tiny sliders on the bottom to determine best placement. i figured if those were already designed as the only place that actually touched the floor, then they were good for wheel placement, balance. BE SURE TO ATTACH TO WALL WITH TIES INCLUDED. No one wants to see anyone hurt, or your things tossed onto the floor. After assembly I decided this was the perfect height to fit evenly with my windows in my sewing room, so I use it to house my antique and modern sewing machines.

Beautiful but a few Defects

This buffet cabinet is absolutely beautiful! I actually decided to use it in my bedroom for clothes, and it holds everything perfectly with room to spare. It looks gorgeous and matches my fluted nightstand completely. Just keep in mind that it is definitely a little on the shorter side—I have a buffet cabinet in my living room, and that one is actually 7 inches taller than this one. Putting it together was a total cinch. The instructions were crystal clear, and my son and I managed to get the whole thing assembled in just about an hour. Once it's up, the design and layout are just stunning, and the six different cabinet sections offer an incredible amount of storage space. However, I did run into a couple of frustrating quality control issues with the finish. The very top piece arrived with a noticeable crack in it. I'm not sure if that happened at the factory or during shipping, Also one of the doors has a defect that is definitely from manufacturing. The overlay coating is already peeling off the wood—it looks like the top layer just wasn't sealed correctly to the underboard. Overall, it's a it's beautiful and offers great storage, but the quality control on the wood finish definitely leaves something to be desired.
