1953-56 Ford Pickup Booster, Master Cylinder & Brake Pedal

Brake Pedal These brake pedal assemblies allow you to easily install power brakes on your 1953-1956 Ford truck.  Note: Pedal assembly is only applicable to a chassis using an automatic transmission.  It does not function with the factory clutch pedal arrangement. Master Cylinder These high-tech Corvette-style master cylinders were designed using OE specifications and 100% tested.  They have a 1" bore and are suited for disc/drum combinations. Each master cylinder is ported on both the left and right sides, allowing for installation in many different applications. This exclusive design features a mating flange that works with applications requiring 3-1/8” through 3-3/8” bolt patterns.  These master cylinders will work with manual or power brake systems and can be quickly changed with the included adapter pin to plug the deep well.  The wide body and low profile gives this master cylinder the clearance you need when installing in tight areas and yet it maintains a large volume of fluid necessary for 2 and 4 wheel disc brake applications. 1" bore. 3/8"-24 IFF outlet ports on both sides. Plugs are included for the unused ports. Mount spacing is 3-3/8", accomodates 3-1/8" applications. Works with power or manual brake systems. Compact, for installation under floor or on firewall. Suited for either disc/disc or disc/drum combinations. Stroke of this master cylinder is approximatlely 1-1/16" Has a piston adaptor that will allow for power or manual applications. Booster measures only 7" in diameter. Zinc chromate finish. The single diaphragm is usually used on lighter vehicles. In the heavier applications of 3000-3500 pounds or more we normally use the dual diaphragm boosters. You will need full manifold vacuum available to the booster. Manufacturer requirements vary between 18 and 20 inches of vacuum. With radical cams there are many cases where there is a loss of the necessary vacuum and the only option is a 12 volt vacuum pump available from Speedway under part number 91028146. O.D. is 7" Length from mount surface to master cylinder mount surface is 3-5/8" (this does not include the shoulder that extends into the master cylinder) 3/8 x 24 thread pushrod that is 4" long from mount surface to end of the threads (pushrod nut included) 4 bolt mount pattern on 3-3/8" centers. Mount bolts are 5/16 x 20 and 7/8" long and nuts are included. Master cylinder mount studs are 3/8 x 18 and 1-1/16" long and 3-3/8" on center.
