Awesome smoker. I went from the conventional barrel style smoker which meant I had to monitor the charcoal the whole time and I was pretty much stuck there the entire time. The Woodridge elite smoker is amazing, light years ahead of what I am use to. I smoked three whole chickens and a tenderloin and it came out great. My only issue is the size of the searing element. It is smaller than expected, so if you are using a cast iron pan, the heat will be concentrated to the center portion of the pan. This is an issue when searing something large like a tenderloin. But overall, very impressed with the Woodridge elite. Even the instructions and setup of the packaging was impressive.

So far, so good.

This is my second Traeger. The first was a 780 Pro. Loved it but the LCD screen failed after 5 years and I used it as an excuse to upgrade. Would have loved to get a Timberline, but $$$$$$$. Looking forward to the same idiot-proof grilling and smoking that I've become accustomed to - without the hassle that the smokestack brought to every cover removal and replacement.

Great smoker

The Smokey flavor we had on our Boston butt was amazing. It was one of the best ones we've had. The super smoke was truly a game changer. That smoke ring throughout the meat was noticeable. The flavor as we use the Pro Blend pellets was sooo flavorful. My husband likes it without the smoke stack. Husband used the app to monitor the meats temp and the amount of pellets left and that was handy too. Have only used once but do know we'll be using it more here soon. We are impressed with it so far.
