Exactly what I wanted and needed. As soon as I hit release button on dash or use the key outside in deck lid keyhole the lid pops all the way up on its own just like it did the day I bought my Firebird in 1989. Thx TRQ for making products as good or even better than OEM.

Have owned my 1986 Camaro IROC-Z/28 for more than 30 years, and in that time have bought too many rear hatch struts to count. They all failed within months. I came upon these and saw they were made for hatches with spoilers. Who knew there was such a thing? They have a higher charge and actually work well. A little more expensive than the 'generic' struts, but if they last, it will be well worth it.
