I bought a bottle of this and used it but forgot why I decided not to buy it again. Yesterday , I bought the coconut extract leave in conditioner from this As I Am brand instead . My dermatologist said not to use anything with oil, keratin, or lanolin. This one that I am reviewing has oil but the one I just bought uses extracts instead of oil. I haven't tried the one I just bought yet but I like that it says it can be applied before gels to keep them from flaking.

I use As I Am Itchy Scalp leave in conditioner for my father's white, naturally curly hair whose scalp tends to be dry. This product works wonders. Moisturizes scalp and hair without residue. The product is a white cream so it doesn't make my father's white hair look yellow.
