A great educational puzzle!

We LOVE Melissa and Doug toys. Always great to teach little ones new things. This puzzle in particular is chunky. It's larger for younger children. The pictures are vibrant and beautiful. One thing I love about it is that it makes the animal noise when the child places the puzzle piece in the correct spot. Makes it fun and educational! My 1 year old received it for her birthday and just can't get enough. She has learned that they make noises, and tries so hard to place the pieces into the correct spot. I definitely recommend if your wanting a toy to t Each children sounds, as well as puzzle piecing.

Great for toddlers

My little one is 5. She says they have this exact toy at school. I would recommend this for ages up to 3 maybe 4. These animal pieces aren't small enough to be swallowed. It takes two AAA batteries and the sound effect isn't too loud or low. It's very well made so it's a great pass down toy. Can be wiped down but I wouldn't recommend saturated.

Cute

I got this puzzle 3 days ago and my 16 month old little girl absolutely loves it. I havent put in batteries yet so I can't review on the sounds but the puzzle and the pieces themselves are very well made. Thick Wood like pieces with jungle animals like lion and snake. She mostly wanted to out them in her mouth but was kinda getting the idea of what to do when her big sister helped her. It withstood the mouth piece tests no water damage from it or chew spots.im very happy with this puzzle!
