Perfect fit easy to DIY (still plastic internally)

It was on a 2007 Tundra. Internal mechanism is made of plastic. 13 years later it's still made of plastic on a 2020 part. 10+ years of using plastic as a lever will result in a broken-lever. It works and was very easy for any DIY's out there. It's not the parr's fault that engineering requires so little logic - but what do I know. (Other than not to use plastic for leverage ever.)

Tailgate Latch - 2008 Tundra Crew Cab

Perfect replacement. This with the UTube video that I watched first I was able to replace the broken latch on my 2008 Tundra in about 15 minutes start to finish. I have no idea how much I saved but I am sure it was a lot.

Amazing

The handle was very good just like the original super easy to instal and fairly cheap and it came prelubed so that was a plus. I am very satisfied with the pricing and quality of the part it easily gets a 5 stars
