I was very pleased with these adorable stuffed birds ! They were very colorful - and just larger stuffed animal versions of the birds we see out of our windows. The Blue Jay and the Cardinal are so distinctively colored in their blue and red, that it makes the real birds easy to identify in nature. Although these 3 types of birds may not actually socialize with one another in the wild ~ in order for these (stuffed) birds to be "happy" as pets of a young child, they need friends to talk with/ or "marry", build nests and start families with. It was nice that the manufacturers took that into consideration and provided 3 birds in the package; in this way the happy "newly-weds" and their next door neighbor all are ready to play with at the same time. I am delighted with these gifts ~ and so were my recipients !
