Safety flaw getting in %26 out of top bunk

We like the look of this bed. It's very sturdy. Our only concern is the top bunk is very hard to get out of since there's no opening in the rail to climb in %26 out of the bed. Our granddaughter has to "feel" for the ladder rungs with her feet while stepping over the rail. A couple of times she's almost slipped. Perhaps redesign with a rail opening .

Had to order twice due to missing pieces the first time BUT easy return and quick refund on the first one, and the second one made it here quickly. Feels sturdy and looks good . The top is a little hard to get to, I wouldn't recommend any kid under 5/6 trying to do it alone.

Happy kids, great bed!

I didn't like how many pieces there were for the slats to the bed but it looks good and feels sturdy. My kids love it! I was able to put the bed together myself but I wouldnt recommend that. It took me several hrs to do it alone.
