In my younger days when I was working I usually wore an elasticized knee high sock under my work boot. I really never thought about compression socks at that time noor did I think I had to. These sox are thin, comfortable, and I think filled with a little magic dust. Since I have started wearing them I have noticed a decrease in swelling, soreness, and an increase in longevity before I feel fatigue. They are warmer or maybe have less absorbancy than regular sox, but overall well worth it in the long run. I am sold.
