This kitty pan was just what my cat needed!
When I read some of the reviews, they stated that this pan was small. But I measured the one I had, and there were negligible differences. What I was looking for, was a pan to replace the bottom of the hooded pan for my elderly (18 year old) cat. I had taken the hood off, since she behaved as if it were in the way, and although it helped, the sides still seemed too high for her to walk in to. We both apparently have aches in our joints! So I did some "window" shopping online, and found this. It took her relatively no time to accustom herself to it; I used some of the clean littler from her old pan, and put it back where she was used to having her "facilities". When she got used to the difference in height as she used it (must be a cat thing), she was much happier. At least, she didn't complain--well, she didn't make any catty comments, anyway!
