I'm a senior woman with mild scalp irritation, but not dandruff. I generously apply this after shampooing to soothe my scalp. I apply it like conditioner and let it sit for a couple of minutes before rinsing. It feels great and clears away the irritation. It also has a pleasant smell. This stuff has been around forever for a reason. It works well and isn't expensive. doesn't need a lot of explanation. smells clean, feels clean and as part of cleaning your face helps the skin look and feel better and helps my sons with acne. If you've never tried it ask yourself why your grandfather used it and you can still buy it today... because it works. Reliable and priced well. Oh and guys with beards...was that mess and use this because it gets the funk and junk outta the beard and cleans the skin underneath well so it's a great and inexpensive way to keep from becoming that guy that has the gross beard that smells funny...and all of us beard guys know when you actually get your face clean under your beard it feels great. Been a great product for generations for a reason.
