Factors, such as a dog’s metabolism, breed size, activity level, age and whether the dog is spayed or neutered, will affect the amount of Purina ONE needed to maintain an ideal body condition. The pet experts at Purina have provided the feeding amounts indicated as a starting point. If you find that your dog is losing weight or becomes overweight when fed these amounts, please adjust accordingly. To help your dog maintain an ideal body condition, monitor your dog’s weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and the waist is visible when viewed from above. Maintaining an ideal body condition can impact your dog’s lifelong health.MAKING THE SWITCH TO PURINA ONEAlthough you’ll be anxious to see the difference Purina ONE can make in your dog, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from his current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina ONE until you’re feeding Purina ONE exclusively. I am so happy that I finally found a food for my little fur babies that they love! They love both, the tender chunks of lamb and the crunchy small pieces of kibble. I have a mini schnauzer who has always been extremely picky. He's the type that would rather eat human food than any dog food I've ever tried—until now. After countless brands and flavors, I decided to give Purina ONE Plus Small Breed a try, and I am so glad I did! From the first bite, he was hooked. He actually gets excited when I pour this into his bowl, which is a first for us. I love that it's grain-free and high in protein because I know it's good for him, but most importantly, he enjoys it. His coat even looks shinier, and his energy levels seem great. If you have a picky eater like mine, I highly recommend giving this food a shot. It's been a game-changer for us!

Lamb and rice oh so nice
My dog loves this food but I have to warn you that if your pup is like my little shih-poo, they will pick out the lamb pieces first and eat them first which will cause pasty poops. I can't convince my Cisco to eat it all the same lol. It's a softer hard food altogether so keep that in mind also.
