Pretty easy to put together, just make sure you pay attention to putting the shoe support bars on the correct side when assembling. The process of putting this over the door shoe organizer together did not take long, all you'll need is a screw driver. The hooks fit over my door pretty well, I did need to slightly bend one hook a little bit to get it to have a more flush fit to where the door could close better without catching at the top of the door frame, but other than that I had no issues. It feels pretty sturdy and i have no concerns of it falling or sliding off the door. It does come with extra screws if you would like the option of securing it to your door for additional reassurance that it is held in place. I find that you can place your shoes either in front or from behind the shoe support bar. Also, some shoes will fit better than others. I do think this is a great option to help store and organize shoes and help clear up closet space. I can also see where this product could have use for more than just shoes, like hanging scarves or maybe purses, etc.

I was surprised with how nice this product was for the price! It easily holds both my shoes (size 7 womens) and my boyfriend's (size 11 mens). I am unsure about how it would hold us if you're actively pulling shoes off of it daily, but so far, I'm impressed and would buy again!
