Fast Grass

While it may be a bit premature to be writing this with only 14 days of growth to compare, I have been very pleased with the performance of GrowTrax grass.  The material is convenient to store (better than sod!), easy to shape to fit a space or site, stays in place (though I used landscape pins) and quick to show signs of growth under daily watering. An added bonus is the fertilizer embedded in the biodegradable material. Grass started appearing after only a few days and continues to look strong - definitely on track to show the promise suggested on the website. I have been very happy with the product so far and have even shard some of the material for others to try out. I would definitely give it a go! My only comment would be that it would be nice if the density of grass seed embedded were increased to get better coverage.

I needed something fast and easy to stabilize a slope that worked without having to lay sod. Was sprouting in 5 days. I have a sprinkler system so I was able to keep it watered easily … that's key… keep it wet !!
