(2 pack) Equate Chocolate Coconut Treat Bar, 7.05 oz, 5 Count

I've been trying to cut back on added sugars and purchased these bars based on another reviewers comments. I'm so glad I did! These are the best "Atkins" type bars I've had. They beat every protein bar I've had and I've tried lots of them. If you like Mounds candy bars, which happen to be one of my favorites, you'll probably love these. They are the closest thing I've found to a Mounds bar. Sometimes, I eat them with a handful of almonds and it's like having an Almond Joy. The filling is thick and creamy and the coconut is sweet with no "off" taste. The bars are about the size of a regular candy bar. They have 5 grams of protein, 1 gram of total sugars, 0 grams of added sugar, 6 grams of fiber and just 160 calories each. And a box of five bars is only $5.18 at my local Walmart! Much less expensive than most other bars. They don't have any weird ingredients you can't pronounce. The only thing I don't care for is the coating contains Maltitol which can cause stomach distress and diarrhea in some people with a sensitivity to that sweetener. I haven't experienced either of those issues. I will definitely be keeping these in my pantry!!
