I also use it for treating fire ant bites, along with other insect bites. Before you start scratching, use full strength, get cotton ball wet and wipe on. Itching stops soon. Painful if put on broken skin after scratching.

a couple of years ago, I was in hospital in Houston. and was using my favorite antiseptic . due to Dr tichenor's distinctive odor, all the nurses who had fled from Hurricane Katrina, and now resettled in Houston, knew that distinctive smell,they curiously looked into the room, and we all laughed and told stories about living in New Orleans! thank you Walmart for offering you'r loyal customers a broad range of choices!
