The RE050 was designed to provide good traction along with responsive yet predictable dry and wet road handling.
- The Potenza RE050 features a high-grip tread compound molded into a directional tread design. Along with a continuous center rib, large tread blocks and stable shoulder elements that provide responsive handling, high-speed stability and traction on dry roads, circumferential and lateral tread grooves are aimed to move water out from under the tires contact patch resisting hydroplaning.
- It has an excellent handling and grip in wet and hazardous conditions. Providing outstanding stability, crisp response and control, it is also built to provide optimum performance and luxury. Potenza RE050 tire uses a technology that is developed from Bridgestone and Formula One long involvement.
