A lot of painters are 3” guys when it comes to wall brushes,I too was one but after using a 2 1/2 pip I'll never go back this brush holds as much paint as any 3” I've ever used and with less dips per caseins you can't go wrong .purdy out did there selves with this one only wish they would make the swan in a 2 1/2 till then I'll keep using this brush and I suggest you try it you won't regret spending the money

I've been using these 'Ovals' for 40 years on sets for the Motion Picture Industry. They are the best overall brushes on the market. For cutting in, painting window sash, blending or highlighting, or splatter. I've used them to turn plastic and fiberglass rocks into realistic stone and marble utilizing the textures as well as laying in the background blends. I have used them to spatter floors and imitate granite. also for aging and washes. The oval shape lends itself to sharp edging and limits flyaway corners. They are easier to clean and hold up very well to the rigors of everyday use.
