Channellock duck bill pliers have a uniquely low profile because they bend in before exending out. Rather than a smooth transition to the "bill", they have an angular transition that makes them even lower profile. They are basically long reach pliers with the duck bill on the end, not standard duck bill pliers. The design and quality make them in my opinion the best general purpose plier. With a wider nose, they don't flex or roll over like needle nose. With the long reach rather than a long nose, they provide better access. The Channellock version also includes diamond pattern cross hatching on the teeth for gripping at different angles. Typically Channellock quality, strong USA steel and nice finish. The only minor knock and this doesn't effect performance is they cut the end off the "bill" / jaws at a slight angle if you're looking at the wide side.
