puts out more heat and uses less energy than any other model I've tried in last 6 years. Others have come and either used too much power or burned out but this one has lasted for 3 years and still going with almost continual usage through the winter months.

11/1/13 I was first attracted to the design of this item, then all of its functions, I really wanted a heater that had a blower or fan built into it or there is almost no reason for me to purchase it if I cannot feel the temperature from a distance. I previously did not see this item when i googled walmart for heaters but found it in the store. the max temp is 90 and it blows with enough force that you can stand at a distance and still feel the heat , it gets really hot, like a fan blowing heat, which is really what i wanted because most heater you only feel them if you are right in front of them. It has heated my large den in no time, I actually decided on this item over my first choice which was the lasko tower, I am very satisfied
