Lasko 1500W Electric Pivoting Utility Ceramic Space Heater with Thermostat, 5919, Black

I own several of these heaters. A couple are 4-5 years old. They provide very adequate room heat in above 0°F temps. Percent for small shops, portable buildings or small camps. Or extra warmth in a cold office. Very safe and reliable, quiet clean operation. Only problem is knobs have a tendency to break if you are not careful. Excellent value.

Anyone remember Raymond Lowey (the industrial designer),this looks like his great work. It is a bit larger than I thought, though not cumbersome. Does it put out good heat? You bet it does. This baby can handle a large room with ease. I live in South FL. We need heaters maybe 10 nights a year. The heat strip in my roof top AC went out and it was over a thousand bucsk to replace it. I bought a few electric space heaters to scatter around the cottage for under $100.00 and kept warm & smiling. This is by far and away the best one of the bunch.. Listed as a shop or garage heater, , you can pay no mind to that if you want a nice warm bungalow.
