This worked for a great art afternoon for my 3 and 5 year old grand kids to decorate their own small Jack-o-lanterns with easy clean up. Since the paint washes off, we will wash the pumpkins after Halloween, cook, and serve them as pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving

So you are aware, art supplies that have not been specifically developed for and labeled as "food grade" should not be used on food, or on items that are likely to come in direct contact with food. Since Crayola products are not Food Grade, once the item is used for crafting, continue to use this way for future art projects and not for culinary purposes.
