Good Fan. Bad Light

I installed this in my bathroom when i renovated approx 8 months ago. The fan is fairly quiet. Looks nice. Recently the light has started blinking off and on 3 times in a row...pauses and repeats.

I bought this product just over two years ago. Overall, I was very happy with the look and sound quality. It is very quiet. It recently started blinking on occasion. I thought it was a switch issue. The light continued blinking sometimes, would stay on other times. I had the switch looked at. Imagine my surprise when I learned it was the led strip. I thought I'd buy a light strip and it'd be fine. WRONG!! Imagine my surprise when I researched and learned I had to replace the entire assembly. The biggest surprise (problem) is that it would cost almost as much as I paid for the entire light/fan new. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. This product should have lasted much longer. I am older and on a fixed income. Not what I expected. I do not recommend it.

Do not buy!!

I bought two of these for bathroom remodel. The LED light malfunctions after about one year of use. Appears to be a defect with all of them as you can see from other reviews. Hopefully there is a replacement light that for this obvious defect.
