Picks up good stations in the boonies.
This radio if great for picking up stations when you are out in the boonies. Not one for carrying while you walk it can weigh a few pounds with batteries.(We generally use ours with batteries). This one seems to be better than the last 1 we had. Love the fact that you can set radio stations. Makes it easier to tune in.

Well made, however a few items could be improved
I really like this radio, however it is a little pricey. Two things I think could be improved. The carry handle is pretty shallow, so care needs to be taken when carrying it. The other item is when batteries are installed, there isnt a place to store the AC cord, so over time, it may be lost. The radio seems very well made, and hoping it stands up to the C Crane reputation. Time will tell
EXCELLANT + + Radio
These guys have been making AM / FM / Weather radios for some time now and this is one of their best. Period. Great reception, very good tone, a great radio for talk and sports, "OK" for music too.
