i bought this as a gift. It arrived in a squishy foam like brick wrapped in plastic bags. I was surprised that it was not in a box, which makes it look odd wrapping it as a gift. It's a different color of green than I was expecting, the picture was a smokey color which I liked. Also I thought it would include a meno of how you are can use it, but there was nothing included. It is a nice item the glass is thick. It has the holes on the side of the main hole so if you wanted to use it to propagate plants you can. overall very nice item.
