Clay Gun by Craft Smart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little dubious about this, since it looked very different from the extruder that I was shown, and because I wasn't using it for clay arts. I actually needed it for the February Soap Challenge Club challenge. I was in a mood to prefer shopping locally, but was really uncertain since clay isn't my thing. In the end, and after talking to the manager on duty, I bought it... and it worked! It did exactly what I needed it to do without ruining fingers of knuckles in the process, and saved me having to roll many, many, many cylindrical canes by hand. Being metal it cleans easily.If you're like me and are using it for soap, just soak it in hot water for a while, then use the spray nozzle on your faucet assembly to get the soap dough out of crannies on the plunger. The discs are pretty unimaginative, but I wasn't expecting much anyway, so no loss of stars there. I do kind of wish they identified the size of the discs (in mm) on the packaging. But as that's a convenience thing, again, no loss of stars there. This is a good unit to get started with, and won't break the bank in the process.
