Safety measures, long hose and low/high burner
Unlike some other ones I have used this unit holds the flame at a low level until you squeeze the lever then it springs to life. That saves gas. The long hose saves your back moving the propane tank around. If the tank accidently falls over there is a shutoff valve on the unit that prevents liquid propane from coming to the burner. You have to unscrew the attachment at the tank valve and reattach it to reset (ask me how I know).
