It is definitely better quality than a knock off he previously had. It does make a little more noise than the non-weighted kind but a quiter than a regular basketball. Look forward to trying it in a gym to see if he can shoot with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was actually really excited to get this silent weighted basketball because I have been trying to work on exercising in my own home and saving money so I don’t have to go to the gym. This ball is bouncy and does have a little bit of weight, but it’s not incredibly too heavy where it is uncomfortable. It also really shimmers. It actually has like a glitter effect to it so it does look really pretty as well. I have been using this for a little over a week and trying to work the muscles in my arms, and I feel that it really does work very well.
