smells great, a light scent that isn't overpowering just like the shampoo. works great for fly aways, single strands out of place. i bought it primarily for my 1st grader, to hold back fly aways and bangs that aren't long enough to stay in a hair tie. He loves his long hair, but I hate how it ends up in his face at the end of the school day, or gels and sprays that leave his hair stiff and needs washing daily. i really like the herbal essence spray. It doesn't hold up as tough as gel would at the end of the day, but I'm still testing it out. It leaves no residue like some gels and sprays which leave hard balls of clear or white flakes.

I absolutely love this product! I have wavy hair and if I don't use any product it gets crazy frizzy. This spray hair gel is the perfect amount of medium hold without weighing down my hair or being too stiff like most other hair gels. 10 out of 10 for me!
