True no-slip! Pup friendly.

I love the colors, it goes with my beachy theme. We have a pup that slides and has injured himself. So I need lots of washable rugs. I like that this one is 8 feet long by 3 ft wide. Most are usually 18”-30” wide and 6ft long. I was surprised to find a runner that's 3ft wide. As soon as we rip up the carpet in the living room, I'll put this down. But I did take it to the kitchen to test out the backing. This one actually grips. I got one that was nearly double the cost of this one and the back slides around. This one is the real deal. The price is reasonable for the size and quality.

Good, liquid resistant, very light weight.

This rug matches it's description- non slip very low pile and true to advertised dimensions, it reduces my slip %26 fall hazard vulnerability which is what got me into covering my floors with rugs in the first place. Water poured onto it beads up indicating to me that any liquid spilled on it is likely to give you time to wipe it up before it becomes a stain (see photos taken after a full minute of sitting). The rug is very thin which makes it so light my regular upright vacuum grabs it and sucks it into the beater and slows or jambs it and it is very hard to push the vacuum even with corner rug gripper pads installed, my adjustable suction power stick vacuum does not have a problem with it. Ideal dimensions for my narrow galley kitchen.
