Worked great on exterior beams

After restaining the vigas on the exterior of home they had more of a sheen than we liked. We needed something to tone it down but retain all aspects of the natural wood. This worked great %26 is designed for exterior use. It says not for use on stained or raw wood, but it seems like that is what many people use it on %26 works great. Would recommend.

Miracle Solution

This Modern Masters Dead Flat Varnish is utter wow. It is the only finish that actually, truly made it possible to preserve the COLOR of my Black Walnut project so that it looks like it natural wood WITHOUT darkening it. And what shocked me is that it caused the wood grain to actually enhance. Put 2 coats of the MMDFV, then 2-3 top coats of waterborne Polyurethane.
