Happy Birds!
I bought this late spring but was waiting for winter to see how the heater worked before reviewing it. It took a couple weeks for the birds to get used to it/find it, but once they did, it has been a busy place. They Love to take baths in it or they did until a couple weeks ago when the temps dropped so now just used to quench their thirst. I am amazed! The temps have been in the teens for over a week, actually, the 'real feel' has been between 2 and 10 and I still have water....not ice. My birds are very happy and the squirrels too as they jump up and get a drink too. It has icicles hanging where some of the water spilled over the edge when I filled it but the water in the bowl is still all water. I could not be any more pleased considering that I did a Lot of comparative shopping before i settled on this one and you can not beat it for the price.
