Allow several minutes for it to fully absorb. Wash your hands after application. For Sunscreen Use: Apply generously and evenly to freshly cleansed face, avoiding eyebrows, 15 minutes before sun exposure. Wash hands after application. Reapply at least every 2 hours*. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. I was very skeptical when I purchased this but I am glad I made the purchase. It works well on me. I noticed a difference after 2 applications. I have lightish skin tone so purchased the fair to light and it was a good match for me. I did make the mistake of not stopping at my jawline per the instructions and applied into my neck. That was a mistake. However - as you can see in the photo the difference in color on my neck that it does work! This photo is after 4 applications. Be kind - it's a 50 YO neck. :-)
