Kwikset 93350-023 Polished Brass UltraMax Security® Round Privacy Deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently built a barn-door to close off our basement stairway, but with grand-babies we did not want them to be able to open the door which meant we had to find just the right lock. Our door is set up similar to a pocket door and needed a pocket door lock set. After searching we found the Kwikset round design door lock and it was the fit we needed. We have had the lock in place for a few months now. This lock fits up to 1 3/8 inch to 1 ¾ inch thick doors. The lock set can be used on both left and right-handed doors. It can be used on a pre-drilled door with an opening of 2 1/8 inches. The installation was quick, and it only requires a screwdriver. The locking knob is inset so there is no issue when closing or opening the door. The only thing I did not like is it's a little hard to turn the knob but doable. It works great on our door and no more worries about the door being opened by the little ones. The finish is a satin nickel. I would buy this lock set again.
