Gilmour Flexogen 100ft Heavy Duty Garden Hose, 3/4" All-Weather Water Hose with Crush-Resistant Brass Fittings, 500 PSI Burst Strength, Kink & Leak Resistant

This "Gilmour" Heavy duty 3/4 inch diameter 50 foot garden hose is more like the quality we used to get 25 plus years ago and lasted that long too. The retail stores and online are full of kinking cheap made hoses made even with plastic coupling that are not even useable they kink so bad, cutting off the water flow. This hose has brass couplings (very important) and did not kink upon first use as the others did that I returned. It is NOT rubber. I found the rubber hoses kinked horribly and were heavy. This material is strong with 8 layers but lighter weight. Much easier to pull around the yard. I have found that the 3/4 inch diameter has always gotten better water flow and this material doesn't kink. Can't speak on long term use but this is the first one I didn't have to send back. I think the other manufacturers of garden hoses today need a lesson in making a quality product at an affordable price. Gilmour seems to have made it right with this garden hose. I think this is the same brand and material I used to buy. Time will tell. I was shocked at all the poor quality hoses I've experienced today at high unrealistic prices.
