Very convenient for me. I don't put them in the oven but I have in the microwave. I have the plastic meal prep containers and use those as well. These ones however are smaller, I tend to use the glass ones for fruit or vegetables or hummus, things like that. An ice pack tends to keep it cooler compared to the plastic meal prep containers.
