Holmes Products HAPF30AOU4R Solution Specific Filters, Odors

I am the only smoker in my household and I have tried several different products that say they eliminate the smoke smell, some did not work at all and some were just an overwhelming perfume odor. So I purchased this Holmes desktop air filter with the odor eliminator filter and the add on Arm & Hammer charcoal insert and now my room that I basically live in is smoke and odor free. For example a friend who has not visited me in a while asked me if I had quit smoking because my room had no smoke smell at all and I lit a cigarette and explained to him about the Holmes desktop air purifier and he has a brand new baby and the diaper pail odor is overwhelming at times and he asked me if it would work in the baby's room and I told him if it can clean the air in my room it should have no problem in his Baby's room.

I've tried several different filters and this is my favorite. I noticed right away that my machine runs much quieter with this filter, and the filter seems to last longer than others before needing to be changed. And it really does help remove odors. My only small complaint is the recent design change which eliminates the needs for a clip-on -- the filters really do fit tighter with the clip-on. But, that's a small issue for a good filter.
