Shakespeare Complete Panfish Spincast Reel and Fishing Rod Kit

I bought 7 of these panfish spincast kits for the boys in my son's Boy Scout Troop. The Scouts are hard on equipment, but these rods and reels have been rugged, dependable, and priced such that we can afford to replace them every other year.

Package would be great with a better reel at a higher price. The reel retrieve is rough probably as a result of the lack of any bearings. Bought it for a five year old who has no problems with my old zebco 33. This rod and rell gave nothing but trouble. I returned it for a refund.
