I found Marks A Lot a number of years ago and liked it, especially when I started using it to mark the cutting edge of my plane irons, bench chisels and etc. when sharpening them. Whether by hand or with a guide, on a water stone or a diamond plate, I get a clear indication of whether I'm at the right angle or not.
