This review is for the extra small run 10 FT x 3 FT. The chicken run arrived with all of the parts and the parts were well labeled or well described in the instruction booklet. I had hoped this would arrive with pre-wired panels but you have to assemble every aspect of this run. The assembly, while daunting at first, was simple. The metal pieces lock together with the little inner knobs, which was easy but also means they are not one solid piece The chicken wire was the biggest challenge to install. This run would not be protective as the chicken's primary run or safe in the evening as it is not predator proof. The door would not keep predators out nor would the chicken wire (you need hardware fabric). The metal itself is likely not sturdy enough against a strong predator. We already have a permanent run for the chickens but wanted a mobile run that we could move around the yard during the day to keep the chickens in and safe from hawks. This run is not sturdy enough to move around so it won't work for the reason we intended. We are also certain that this run will not hold up to our weather conditions as we erratic weather here. The run is designed to bolt to the ground; however, even with bolting, the materials won't survive long in our weather. There is also not enough area for the chickens to get out of the weather elements (rain, sun, etc.) so an addition of another tarp is necessary. This run requires will require to safely and permanently house chickens. Having said all that, the description and pictures the seller provided is accurate and you know what you are buying, for this reason we gave it 4 stars but read and look carefully because you do get what you pay for with this one. We could not go five stars because the statement “Heavy Duty Steel Frame Construction” is debatable because in our opinion, it is not heavy duty. I would say this run could be helpful as an affordable starting point; however, adaptations are needed to strengthen it for protection of chickens.
