Very cute as decor

I would not recommend this as a toy or a sleep aid for a small child, but it would be very cute on a shelf where they can't reach it. There is loose fabric for babies to get on their nose or toddlers to chew. It also smells funny, the chest is hard, and it's very loud. It says hello and goodbye when you turn it on and off. I'd say it's best from a distance. Or you could take the battery case and wires out and add some stuffing if you want a cuddly toy. If you want the effects, be sure you have three AAA batteries. Nice gift box, but it did get a little beat up in shipping.
