Satisfied with Ultra Faucet brand

I'm very happy with this faucet. Installation was easy if you have the right tools. I'm not a plumber but was able to understand the instructions and had no problem installing it. Water flow is good and quality feels good. It's been a month since I purchased and waited to make sure I broke it in well. I would recommend this and price was a lot less than the ones at HD or Lws.

Looks Good but........

The faucet looks very nice, once installed. On the plus side, the action is smooth and plumber's putty is not needed (has rubber gaskets) to install. HOWEVER, INSTALLATION WAS FRUSTATING! First, the instructions consisted of a blow-up illustration without enough detail to understand what order the parts are to be assembled. You had to use a lot of trial and error fitting. As for the written instructions they consist of; turn the water off, remove the old faucet and install the new one. WOW--- what great information. Second, the rod that controls the pop-up is at quite an angle, such that it actually hits the underside of the bowl. You have to bend it to make it work. Third, the water connections are fittings on the end of small diameter copper tubes. You must GENTLY bend these out of the way of the pop-up rod and the threaded rod (see next point). Also, when threading the supply lines, you must use two wrenches. One to turn the supply line nut and the second to hold the fitting at the end of the tube. Otherwise the tubes will twist and either flatten or break at their solder joint. The wrench "holds" on the fittings are 1/2" flats (not hex) which adds to the difficulty in positioning the wrench in order to tighten the connection. Finally, the "mechanism" to secure the faucet to the sink consists of a 5" long threaded rod connected to the underside of the faucet body, a "C" shaped rubber gasket and steel plate, and a hex nut. As you run the nut up the threaded shaft to tighten, the nut becomes increasingly difficult to get a wrench on it, because it "disappears" within the underside of the countertop. You can't use a socket wrench (even deep well) because the threaded rod prevents this. You can't use a sink wrench very well because the copper tube lines interfere. I used a stubby open end wrench and a lot of colorful language to get this bugger tight. If you are not mechanically inclined, have a good selection of tools, and can work in cramped quarters, either have a plumber install this faucet or pick another one. I bought two and have yet to install the second one. With the learning curve from having done the first one, the next one should be easier, but it will still be a super pain.

Pure junk. Looks nice, good price, but pure junk. I installed it and the water coming out of the faucet pulsates. I called the customer service, I sent a video of it and waiting two days to hear back. Mean while my sink project stands on hold and incomplete. I'm buying something different
