The box it came in was very long and heavy, but all the parts and tools you need to assemble it are in the box. the instructions were easy to follow, and you can assemble this with or without help. It doesn't come with any spare bolts so make sure you keep track of them! My girls were so excited when they came home from school and saw there new bed. I love how easily the trundle rolls in and out from under the bunk bed. Overall, great value for what you pay for it!
