- 1 Removing the front wheels, belly pan and sway bar. 2 Marking and loosening the alignment cams. 3 Removing the shock and spring assembly. 4 Installing the upper shock mount leveling kit. 5 Installing the shock and spring assembly back in the vehicle. 6 Installing the sway bar, belly pan, front wheels and rear lift. 7 Tightening the fasteners.
- Note: 1 Check all fasteners for proper torque. Check to ensure for adequate clearance between all rotating, mobile, fixed, and heated members. 2 Verify clearance between exhaust and brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank, floor boards and wiring harness. Check steering gear for clearance. Test and inspect brake system. 3 Perform steering sweep to ensure front brake hoses have adequate slack and do not contact any rotating, mobile or heated members. 4 Adjust headlights to proper settings given increased vehicle height. 5 An alignment is required after installation for both safety and to prevent premature tire wear.
