Panama Pacific 9-Year Rum, 750 ml 47.3% ABV

For our 5-year expression, freshly distilled sugarcane molasses is placed in American oak bourbon whiskey barrels initially used for 3 years before an additional 2-year finish in toasted, not charred, Canadian and Tennessee rye whiskey barrels. The interaction between these barrels maintains the desired balance between the rum's intrinsic qualities and the characteristics introduced by the oak.
