I was immediately impressed by the weight and sturdiness of this step stool/hand truck combo. There is nothing to assemble. When flat, just push the hand cart "platform" down (it does take a bit) and turn the wheels out. If you want a stepladder, just release the side supports from main frame and pull the platform up. You feel safer climbing the stool with handrail at the top. You can also leave the wheels out and it is a pushable step stool. The rubber wheels move easily indoors and out. Both the step stool and handcart feel of good quality, especially at this price point. Our garage is about 70 ft from our door and 40 pound flimsy boxes of cat liter no longer scare me! Dual uses make it very versatile with indoor and outdoor tasks. Does not look or feel cheap.
